This is a principle of our founder, the late Mr Tay Choon Hye, who believed in giving back to society in equal measure what we have received.

The Tay Choon Hye – NKF Dialysis Centre, made possible by the generous contribution of $5 million towards the setup of this centre, is the realisation of our founder’s vision to help fellow kidney failure sufferers. Over the years, SUTL has continuously contributed to National Kidney Foundation (NKF), Share-A-Meal and other charity campaigns, including the establishment of the SUTL Scholarship at Singapore Management University (SMU) for outstanding undergraduates of Vietnamese nationality. 

Our Chairman & CEO, Mr Arthur Tay, has also been actively involved in grassroots and charity organisations for many years, and currently serves as a patron of the Ayer Rajah-West Coast and Bukit Batok citizens’ consultative committees.
