History

SUTL was established in 1968 as a humble ship chandelling and trading company with only 20 staff.

Leveraging on Singapore’s strategic location as a shipping hub, SUTL grew rapidly, establishing a strong foothold in the region. A dominant player in the industry, SUTL garnered a reputation as a trading company with expertise in fast-moving consumer goods from multinational corporations for regional distribution.

With years of local market operating experience and a critical understanding of distribution networks, regulatory systems and local business conditions, SUTL successfully bridged the gap between foreign businesses and market needs.

Fuelled by an entrepreneurial instinct and a passion to succeed, SUTL today has evolved into a multi-million dollar enterprise with presence across 18 markets in Asia and over 5,000 staff. Beyond trading and distribution, SUTL has diversified over the years, widening its business focus under the three main divisions of Consumer Goods, Leisure and Environmental. It is now proud owners of renowned brands and wine labels such as Arthur’s Reserve and Heritage Vale as well as the prestigious ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, Singapore.
